Now, don't misunderstand me here. I have love for George Michael. I am a Wham Fan, being a child of the 80s and all. But this is NOT a Christmas song. The criterion for a Christmas song should be more than having the word "Christmas" in the lyrics and the sound of bells in the accompanment.
A jilted lover threatens to find someone "special" next year. At one point he even indicates he found that person, "OOO whoo now I've found a Real Love / You'll Never Fool Me Again." And yet, in another stanza he says "But if you kissed me now I know you'd fool me again."
Not very Christmasy if you ask me.
